Job Profile
Our client company has an exciting opening for an Architect Engineer to lead the GUI design of their Windows-based product starting at the concept stage. Our client company is an early stage, high energy start-up seeking the very best innovative software engineers.

Description of Duties
Specify GUI Architecture fitting the overall architecture developed by our CTO.
Lead a small team of A players implementing your architecture.
Lead the documentation for development, including schedules, Architectural Specification, Functional Specification, and Design Specification.
Work with the other leaders to create a seamless, cutting edge product.
Develop proof-of-concept or prototype software to reduce project risk.
Lead analysis of resulting prototype and product performance.

Profile of Candidate
BSCS/BSEE minimum, MSCS preferred, other degrees with significant experience may be considered.
10+ years GUI technical experience minimum, 15+ years preferred.
2+ years in a lead or Architectural role.
GUI designs for enterprise products preferred.
Significant C++ based implementations required, Java, C#, XML, VB are a plus.
Solid Microsoft Visual studio skills are required.
Experience creating Enterprise Windows applications and architectures.
.NET experience required. .NET 3.0 experience is a plus.
ASP.NET, MFC, DCOM, COM+ experience are a plus.
UML, BOOCH designs, design patterns SOA experience are a plus.
.NET Framework classes experience preferred.
Experience with the Model-View-Controller pattern is a strong plus.
Experience creating network based software products.
Ability to write architectural plans, functional specifications and design documents.
Design for test, maintainability and scalability.
Proficiency leveraging patterns and frameworks to create best in class solutions.
Experience bringing products from concept through multiple releases.
Participate in peer reviews to ensure a successful product.
