Job Description – Genesys CTI Consultants / Engineers (Ground Floor Opportunities):

Candidates can reside anywhere within the Continental US.  Position is Contract-to-Hire

 

The Genesys CTI Consultant / Engineer is positioned as a subject matter expert in the field.  It is a very hands-on position dealing directly with Genesys CTI solutions installation and configuration.  This role is responsible for all facets of project implementation work from the project’s beginning to its transition to post-project support.  Consultants / Engineers will be asked to research technologies, trouble-shoot problems, document project specifics, and work directly with vendors and the customer’s technical personnel. 

 

Minimum Requirements

-  Two or more years of technical experience with the Genesys suite of software products

-  User level knowledge of UNIX and NT operating systems

-  General understanding of relational databases (Oracle, Informix, etc..)

-  General understanding of switch/ ACD technologies and administration

-  Functional knowledge of application development

-  General understanding of IVR technologies

-  Willingness to travel 60-80%

-  Ability to self manage in fast paced environment

-  Quick learner, ability to learn on the job

-  Good communication skills (ability to work on a team, ability to work with the customer) Ideal applicants will have a few of these attributes

-  Genesys certification

-  Switch, ACD, PBX experience (Lucent, Nortel, Aspect, etc..)

-  Systems administration experience (SUN, HP, NT)

-  Cisco ICM experience

-  Oracle experience, SQLPlus

-  Immediate contributor with direct telecommunications experience

-  IVR experience (administration, application programming) (Periphonics, Aspect, Edify, Intervoice, etc..)

-  Multimedia call center solutions (VoIP, Email, Web)
