HL7 / Billing Programmer

Visonex is seeking a programmer to join our expanding company. We are seeking a full-time staff programmer and billing liaison to our clients (not a “temporary” or “contract” programmer). This job will be primarily responsible for maintaining/developing code, working with clients to setup billing interfaces, and resolve problems with interfaces.

 This programmer will have the opportunity to telecommute and a flexible schedule after a 1 month training period.

Responsibilities

As a Visonex programmer, you will:Work with Visonex staff (e.g., senior programmers, support staff, product manager) to plan program code enhancements and changes. Create, test and maintain Billing program code. Provide assistance to Visonex technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a program. Provide assistance to customers as may be needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem. Provide general programming assistance to other Visonex programmers/projects as may be needed. Design sample data to help clients build / configure their billing interface. Participate in conference calls with Clients to help them build / configure their billing interface.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

The programmer must have demonstrable experience with:SQL Server / TSQL Billing/Claims or Insurance Experience Health Level 7 (HL7) record formats .NET

The programmer should also possess the following traits:Enjoy working with others in a team atmosphere. Prefer a small-business, fast paced working environment. Enjoy maintaining/enhancing code to meet changing customer/industry needs. Have a “customer-service” orientation. Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
