HR Generalist (259089-HR)

DescriptionApogen Technologies, a subsidiary of QinetiQ North America has an excellent opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist with a focus on benefits. This individual will maintain employee benefit plans such as life, health, dental insurance, vision, COBRA, and provide general HR support.. Will be responsible for new hire orientation. Will be responsible for data entry into the HRIS. Will be responsible for responding to and helping resolve employee issues. Will support employees in various locations. Will process changes and enrollments, interface with payroll and vendors. Will participate in the open enrollment meetings and process. Within a year this position will evolve into more employee relations responsibilities.Required SkillsThis position requires a Bachelors degree and 3 years of Human Resources experience. Requirements: Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Ability to work independently and be able to multi-task with attention to detail and deadlines.Experience with HRIS system and payroll database/strong computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel). Deltek Costpoint experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting benefit programs. B.A./B.S, strongly preferred, with a minimum 3 years of experience in HR/Benefits. PHR preferred.
