Hardware/Software Specialist

Seeking a Hardware/Software Specialist for operational and implementation support.  Will be assembling hardware, racking, testing and installing 3rd party expansion cards. Must have a high level of OS expertise.
Will be responsible for:
Revision of hardware and OS build standards to provide optimal availability and performance of the new platform Integration into existing authentication, SAN, NAS, email, backup, monitoring, and job scheduling infrastructures Tailoring of proposed provisioning services to meet existing company security and configuration standards Development of a repeatable patch bundle creation and deployment process

EMC SANs
Veritas File System, Volume Manager, Cluster Server & NetBackup
BMC (familiarity)
Security methodology's
Scripting (Perl is a plus!)

TCP/IP Networking

Troubleshooting OS issues (iostat, prstat, vmstat, snoop, ping, etc)

Must be a permanent resident or US Citizen.  Must be able to pass an extensive background check/security clearance.
