Job Category:Program Director Consultant Primary Location:USA-GA: GEORGIA-ATLANTASchedule:Full-time Job Type:Regular Employee Status:Regular Yes, 75 % of the Time Job Posting: 04/09/2008Description: We have an immediate opportunity for a strong, seasoned Director or Sr. Manager with project experience leading large teams (gt; 20 people) through business process assessments, design, testing, training, and go-live support. This position will be responsible for the delivery of client engagements, the quality of work, project timelines, deliverables, project economics, and overall client satisfaction. In addition, this position will be responsible for the development of client relationships both concurrently as part of active engagements and proactively in anticipation of future needs. Responsible for the development of associates within the firm as assigned. Experience in health plan consulting at a senior level or as a director with hands on process and project management experience required. Qualified individuals should possess effective team management skills and experience with a variety of project management tools and techniques. Though relocation is not required, you must be willing to travel extensively and work at client sites a minimum of 4 days per week, the 5th day either at client site or via home office location. The position requires the following: Experience assessing, implementing, and optimizing business processes in health plans. A minimum of8 years Health Plan related work experience with deep working knowledge in the following: enrollment, member service, provider service, claims, benefits set up, billing, accounts receivable, interfaces with ancillary systems such a medical management and the general ledger, data conversions, and custom output development. A BA/BS Degree, advanced degree, and/or relevant certifications such as PMP is/are beneficial. Experience with formal life cycle development methodologies such as RUP is desirable. Essential Job Functions Management: Drive projects and business organizations toward achieving the intended business results within a contracted time and budget. Management: Manage large, complex projects of 40 plus resources or a program of related projects of 40 plus resources across all phases of the project life cycle. Management: Participate in project reviews, validating estimates, schedules, and associated work products. Methodology: Encourage and assist others to use Catalyst phases, activities, and tasks as a basis for developing estimates and team plans. Business: Review the case for action, principles, constraints and assumptions for completeness and obtain buy-in from the executive sponsor of the mission, vision and strategy, and case for action. Technical: Understand all components of the integration test cycle and participate in the development of the test strategy. Relationship Management: Manage client expectations and balance the needs of CSC and the client to ensure satisfaction for both. Relationship Management: Influence decisions and project direction at the executive level. Leverage: Perform consultative selling and leverage business through superior delivery skills, good client relations, and subject matter expertise. Leverage: Participate in proposal efforts and sales calls. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Seven or more years of experience managing large, complex projects or a program of related projects Experience working with CSC Catalyst and/or equivalent client-mandated project management methodology Experience working with quality management approaches and techniques Experience working with delivery assurance policies, procedures, and principles to ensure compliance Other Qualifications Strong skills in project trend analysis to determine the status of projects schedule to plan, budget conditions, and resource utilization Strong communication skills Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action, giving regard to the impact on both the client and CSC Ability to adjust personal style to different situations Willingness to travel Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:None Create Success
