The PM will be responsible for coordinating efforts with client and multiple project teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met in accordance with quality standards and processes. This position requires at a minimum 5-8 years project management experience. The successful candidate must have working knowledge in one or more of the following functional Health Plan areas: enrollment, provider reimbursement, provider set up, member service, provider service, claims processing, benefits set up, billing or accounts receivable. A BA/BS Degree, advanced degree, PMP, and/or relevant certifications are beneficial.Project Manager Responsibilities: Project and resource planning; Work plan development and maintenance; Issue management Risk tracking and mitigation; Resource tracking; Timely Dashboard and progress report updates; Accurate status reports and dashboards to project team and executives; Conflict and issues resolution facilitation; Clear communications among all impacted resources; Project documentation posting on designated websites; Project Manager Characteristics: Strong communication skills and presentation skills; Leadership, decision-making and team building skills; Strong attention to detail and problem solving ability; Quick learning, self-direction, motivation, and posses a strong dedication and commitment to client service Expertise in working in a fast-paced, collaborative, project-oriented environment Proficiency at MS Project and MS Office toolset proficiency. Though relocation is not required,the successful candidate must be willing to travel extensively. Our consultants are generally on the client site Monday-Thursday of each week. We have both full time employee and contract positions available.Essential Job Functions Management: Plan tasks, assign resources to the task, monitor and track progress and deliver the project according to prescribed standards within the specified schedule and budget. Management: Manage small to medium project teams of 6 -15 resources applying basic project management principles for development through deployment to include preparing detail project plans, tracking, reporting status and issues, and delegating. Management: Prepare a detailed Statement of Work (SOW) for medium size project engagements and participate in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to our project management policies and procedures. Methodology: Use Catalyst phases, activities, and tasks as a basis for developing estimates and team plans. Business: Review high-level and detailed business process designs to the Elementary Business Process (EBP) level and Derived Logical Process (DLP) level for scope adherence. Technical: Assist in preparing the requirements, evaluating products, and selecting Commercial Off-The-Shelf Software (COTS). Relationship Management: Establish credibility at all levels within the client and build problem-solving partnerships with the client and colleagues. Leverage: Understand the sales process, its information and support requirements, and assist business developers in identifying or qualifying leads. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Five or more years of experience managing small to medium-sized projects of low to medium complexity Experience working with CSC Catalyst and/or equivalent client-mandated project management methodology Experience working with client's vision, business objectives, and critical success factors Experience working with scope control techniques and change-in-scope authorization process Other Qualifications Skilled in estimating and common project management desktop tools Good communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment Ability to devise creative solutions to address problems and issues Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex business or technical problems Willingness to travel Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:None Create Success
