HCS Systems is seeking a consultant to provide Help Desk Support Services.  The selected candidate will provide first level Service Desk support on the Microsoft Office 2003 products statewide.  The primary support will be for the Microsoft Outlook 2003 client with MS Exchange.

Description:
•  Provide phone support with the ability to instruct and 'walk' users through the functional use of Outlook 
email andcalendar products.
•  Update customer requests in 'HEAT' and the Service Desk call tracking application.
•  Update the knowledge base as needed.
•  Update documentation as needed for future Service Desk operations.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
•  Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP.
•  Knowledge of all Microsoft Office 97 and Office 2003 Suites.
•  Experience with Netscape Email and Calendar.
•  Ability to manage tasks and meet schedules.
•  Ability to write technical documentation that is easily understood by clients.
•  Good organizational and communication skills, written and oral
•  Excellent command of English language.
•  Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.

Preferred:
•  Advanced or Expert Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook 2003.
•  Experience in a Government environment.
•  Willingness to work overtime as needed.

This position will be a minimum of 6 months in length and as always we have the ability to hire salaried with full benefits or hourly, depending on your needs.
