Help Sansum Clinic be a leader in the Health Services industry by acting as the IT Help Desk Clerk who keeps customers informed; evaluates inquiry; resolves inquiry; tracks status of inquiry resolution; notifies client of resolution status; answers production status inquiries; provides information; updates job knowledge; accomplishes department and organization mission.
Qualifications
Expert problem-solver. Sorts through complex issues and conducts comparative analysis of multiple solutions.
Excellent ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical.
Designs the organization for optimal customer service. Promotes excellence by providing superior service to each customer.
Experience providing end user support with operating systems, such as Windows, Novell, or Unix. Must be familiar with PC and client/server platforms.
Capable of producing comprehensive documentation.
Skilled at using database, spreadsheet, and word-processing software to prepare statistical and written reports with varying degrees of complexity and detail for management.
Experience informing clients, superiors, peers, and direct reports based on their information needs.
Uses customer-oriented telephone etiquette to get information. Greets callers, establishes rapport, projects professional tone, handles complaints, and records statistics on each call.
Efficiently operates terminal and enters data. (A minimum of 5,000 ksph)
Has effective organizational skills. Keeps files and work area organized.
Support Sansum Clinic Telephones, desktops computers and peripherals; answer and respond to user requests in the helpdesk and datacenter location; diagnose and troubleshoot hardware or software problems at the user's location; or remotely using tools to take over control of user's workstation.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; A+ or equivalent certification with three or more years of helpdesk exper/training in an IT environment.
