Helpdesk/Computer Support Technician

Job Responsibilities:

Will support customers with technical problems they may encounter in the operation of software, hardware, operating systems, e-mail, etc. Must have working knowledge of Windows OS and Office products, basic networking, and other related software. AutoCAD knowledge a plus. This position will work with other tech staff and reports to the Director of IT.

 

Preferred Experience:

-Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred

-2-3 years of increasingly responsible experience in a support capacity in a user-oriented environment highly desired

-Minimum operating system knowledge includes MS Windows 2000 & XP

-Proficiency in MS Office 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007 desired

-Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking hubs and switches preferred

-Proven ability to operate/maintain a variety of standard office equipment including personal computers, printers, plotters, copiers, etc.
