Job Description: Helpdesk Technician

 

Qualified candidates will spend a large portion of their time on the phone troubleshooting escalated calls.  Candidates will have to have an average call resolution time of 6 minutes.  Furthermore, candidates will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of their customer service team’s immaculate record.  Helpdesk Certifications will be awarded to all candidates after six months; in addition, candidates who excel will have the prospect to grow within the organization.  

 

 

Requirements:

 

Candidate must have excellent communication skills along with the unwavering ability to handle pressure while maintaining a positive customer service attitude.

 

Candidate should have heavy experience with a ticketing system, preferably Remedy, Microsoft Outlook 2000/2003, and password resets, mainframes, TCP/IP.

 

Candidate must be of good moral character, having a high regard toward punctuality, and ethics.

 

 

Preferred skills:

 

Experience with Symposium, touch point, Remedy.
