Job Summary:
Control and monitor the administration of all human resource activities and policies. Manages compensation, benefits, staffing, employee relations, health and safety, and training/development functions. Supervises human resources staff.
Core Responsibilities:
· Create company strategic recruitment and selection plan
· Oversee compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive salary levels
· Direct the administration of benefit programs to include; health, retirement, death, disability and unemployment
· Evaluate and recommend improvements to benefit programs
· Recommend and maintain an organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives
· Evaluate company culture and provide recommendations on changes to accomplish company goals and objectives
· Develop and manage annual budgets
· Provides counseling to employee and managers as relates to work-environment
· Create and interpret personnel policies, rules and regulations
· Prepares reports to be presented to CEO and members of the Executive Team
· Recommend and establish company policies and procedures
· Work with department managers to develop business and recruitment plans
· Establish and implement short and long range departmental goals, objectives, policies and operations procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required, Masters preferred.4-8 years prior HR experience at Generalist level or above.Experience in strategic planning and executionAbility to negotiate contracts and pay ratesAbility to analyze and assess training and development needsKnowledge of organizational development theory and practicesAbility to participate in and facilitate group meetingsAbility to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projectsExperience in developing policies and procedures Excellent computer skillsHigh standard of written communication skillsAbility to use discretion and keep matters confidentialStrong initiative, positive attitude, team playerAbility to work a flexible schedule
