We are excited to announce that we are now hiring for

IT Security Specialist in our Watsonville Support Center!!

 

 

What will you be doing?

 

Key Duties include:

Performing security posture analysis, implementing and monitoring security policies, assisting in the performance of risk and risk-tolerance assessments, identifying and submitting architectural and infrastructural recommendations as it pertains to security. Individual will engage in West Marine’s Technical Security

analysis and discussions, make formal/informal recommendations to the Director of IT security, and create project plans, monitoring activities and tools, and Security Reporting covering the following areas: GCC SOX compliance, CISP compliance and West Marine’s overall IT and Security Policies and Procedures.  Responsible for documenting and updating West Marine’s information systems, controls, and assessing policies and practices for compliance with regulations such as Sarbanes Oxley 404, CSB1386, Visa CISP.  Responsible for assisting with the corporate business continuity program.

 

 

What are we looking for?

 B.S. in Computer Science,

 Psychology/Criminology or equivalent.

 Must be certified at CISSP, CISA or CISM.

 Other technical certifications (CCSE, GSNA etc) a plus but not a must.
