ICA Alliance Management Leader

Location: US-WA-Seattle Requisition ID:  REQ58746983 (Post ID:70863536) Job Level:  Experienced (Non-Manager)As a member of the ICA cabinet, the Alliance Management Leader will work directly with Microsoft, fostering Nortel’s relationship and driving the ongoing alliance between Nortel and Microsoft, working across all Microsoft core business groups and customer facing groups.This position is located in Seattle. Key Accountabilities Develop the relationship strategy Understand Microsoft groups/structure, who is who…and target/map specific functions/individuals within Nortel and Microsoft. Identifies opportunities to extend the relationships and build mindshare for Nortel in Microsoft Work with the ICA cabinet to ensure one face to Microsoft Provides direction to the teams regarding the partnership framework Interfaces with the NT Microsoft Sales Team to assess potential leverage Orchestrate the relationship and strategy across all work streams (Marketing, Sales, Product, Services, LOB, Executives) and ensure alignment within Nortel into Microsoft Establishes operating rhythm and governance ( escalation, meetings, rules of engagement…) between the two companies and within Nortel Lead complex contract negotiations (including licensing) as required.Key Skills/Competencies Ability to successfully work with and manage Microsoft Create synergistic (Nortel & Microsoft) and beneficial (Nortel) strategies and plan Excellent proven ability to deal with ambiguity Proven ability to influence within a matrixed environment.
