IDE Systems Administrator

A large San Diego company is looking for an IDE Systems Administrator.

Responsibilities will include:Providing administration and support for large scale websites containing MS SharePoint (MOSS 2007) and MS Project Server 2003/2007.Assisting the Helpdesk triage SharePoint and Project Server configuration issues.Providing system administration of servers within the SharePoint server farm and related application servers.Conducting regular backups, maintenance, patching, and overall system support.Providing SharePoint and Project Server guidance and training.This position needs someone who works well in a team environment; who participates in peer reviews; and who is able to work independently or under close supervision depending on the task/project requirements. In addition, Candidates must have the following skills and experience:At least two years of hands-on experience with SharePoint/MOSS 2007.At least two years of hands-on administration experience with Project Server (preferably 2007).At least five years of overall systems administration experience.Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Domains, TCP/IP, SMTP, and working within an Enterprise network and firewalls.Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools and the ability to diagnose server problems.The following skills and experience are highly desired:Experience with SharePoint workflows, web part creation, master pages, SQL Server, and IIS.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, product lines, and deployment best practices.Basic understanding of Microsoft .Net and Custom SharePoint Web Parts.Familiarity with 3rd Party SharePoint solutions/vendors.Experience with setting up and deploying Microsoft Exchange Servers.Familiarity with virtual environments.Length of Assignment: Indefinite
