IDMS/DB2 - Unicenter

Our client is prepared to hire immediately. We are looking for consultants that are skilled working as a IDMS/DB2 specialist.  The consultants shall conduct support tasks as directed by the Information Technology Department team. Requirements 1.Provide daily test and production database support. 2.Provide DB2 on z/OS support as required by the technical lead or project manager.  Ability to also provide IDMS support is desired. 3.Assist in a conversion project as directed by technical lead or project manager. Duties may include analysis, data conversion, documentation, programming, testing or other tasks associated with the project.   4.Provide support of user requests for assistance or ADHOC reporting as required.  5.Attend status meetings as scheduled by the technical lead, project manager or project team.  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Consultant will need to have the following skills to be able to conduct support tasks and related assignments as set forth in the Scope of Work.  Previous experience in a production support environment is preferred.   EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING SOFTWARE VERSIONS  DB2 for z/OS Version 7.x IDMS  Release16.2 CA-Unicenter products (formerly Platinum utilities) Version 11.x z/OS release 1.5 and 1.8  SKILLS/EXPERIENCE    DB2 CA-Unicenter IDMS z/OS JCL   Working knowledge of RACF VSAM – file allocation, LISTCAT   For immediate consideration, please send your resume as a Wordattachment to T.Talbert at ttalbert@ciber.com  We are looking for solid career minded professionals.
