IS MANAGER, INFRASTRUCTURE

Our client company is a global brand name in retail, and has an immediate need for a manager who can be responsible for all technology disciplines within the Infrastructure areas.

Job Profile
This position will lead a newly formed team of Architects through all phases of design and development of all Infrastructure projects and resources, as well as managing personnel.

Evaluate projects to determine size, budgets and processes.
Work with cross functional teams on project requirements, specifications, and technologies.
Investigate new technologies that will reduce costs, create efficiencies or provide significant value
Advance IT initiatives and improve standards
Develop strategy for upgrades and replacements.
Look for automation opportunities
Present solutions to Sr. Management
Address personnel issues and administer performance reviews.


Requirements
10 years IT infrastructure experience, 5 years team management
Excellent communications skills
Familiarity with ITIL, CMM or other standardized process framework
Knowledge in Windows OS, UNIX, Linux, iSeries, centralized networks and storage networks, Middleware
