Omni Resources is seeking an IT Analyst.
This position provides project development support for the New Generation project. Project development support includes following the SDLC (system development life cycle) process: working with business analysts to determine enhancement requirements, writing technical specifications, coding, unit testing, supporting system and integration testing, supporting software implementations. Production maintenance support includes working on and troubleshooting production issues. Other skills are good teamwork, willingness to learn and shows initiative.
Important skills include: SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, Scripting - Windows scripts (batch/WSH), UNIX, Linux (Perl/CGI/Shell) Webservices- publishing & consuming, development with SOAP and XML, SOA knkowledge a plus, UML modeling, familiarity with N-tier architecture, AJAX, JavaScript, DHTML.
