IT Consulting Sales

Blackwell Consulting Services provides Information Technology services to businesses and public sector organizations.  BCSO works with clients to develop and implement practical IT solutions to run their businesses better.  BCSO offers a comprehensive portfolio of services in areas including project and program management, applications development, ERP services, IT strategic planning and enterprise infrastructure solutions.  We are looking for a seasoned business development representative with experience in all phases of selling IT solutions in the Ohio marketplace.

 

The Business Development Representative is responsible for developing new business and managing current customers.  The role will include prospecting, closing business, negotiating contracts, and maintaining a long term relationship with our clients.  Must be able to develop and maintain new territories to promote the professional services of the BCSO by planning, creating and implementing innovative strategies and lead generation.  Will be responsible for soliciting RFP's from clients and then leading a team in responding to RFP opportunities.  You must have prior experience selling Information Technology Services or Deliverable-Based projects.  Must have a proven track record of penetrating existing client accounts and capturing and retaining end clients.  Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written & verbal).  Experience in cold calling and new lead generation is essential.  Must have the ability to present to high level Management at the Fortune 1000 client companies.  Experience in selling project consulting (both off-shore and off-site/on-site) is a huge plus.  College degree is preferred but related experience is acceptable.
