IT/Desktop Support

We are currently seeking IT/Desktop Support for the IT group in our Los Angeles office. This person is responsible for the configuration, maintenance and trouble-shooting of user desktop systems. Major Activities: • Install desktop software, operating systems and desktop applications • Troubleshoot hardware (NIC cards and cables), client software (Novell and Microsoft clients) and password problems• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software problems on the desktop system locally and remotely • Troubleshoot and resolve printing problems with both local connections and network print queues. • Coordinates and setup of the videoconferencing equipment. • Maintains and manages inventory. • Participate in 7 / 24 on-call support rotation to provide support for network problems and user issues.  Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Able to maintain basic knowledge of the computer • Able to maintain, diagnose and repair computers • Able to respond to software problems and perform diagnostic and repair defective equipment • Able to perform testing, delivery, installation, repairs, and maintenance of computer workstations and peripherals  Qualifications: • Associate degree in a related field • Technical trade school or CompTIA A+ certification a plus • 3+ years of experience. Please apply online via the company website by clicking on the link below: http://tbe.taleo.net/NA2/ats/careers/requisition.jsp?org=SYSKA&cws=1&rid=262
