OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB (MISSION):Develop and maintain overall company IT strategy. Support all end users, servers, and network resources ensuring the proper operation of all IT systems. Provide a single point of contact for all information technology needs to facilitate and ensure the continuous productive operations of all IT systems and computer related devices. B. SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS: Lead MS Dynamics AX ERP implementation, integration, configuration, and end user training. Oversee data mapping/migration, database structure, and client configuration. Willing to travel with extended stays at international office locations. Field general support requests from end users via both email and telephone in a timely, courteous manner. Solve technical issues using existing knowledge of key technologies and methodical troubleshooting, and facilitate resolution through existing service providers as required. Perform fixes and updates, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications. Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Develop instructions, policies, and training documentation for end users. Setup new user domain accounts, e-mail accounts/mailboxes and group membership, and configure new user workstations and laptops. Uses excellent discretion in handling confidential and/or sensitive information. Provides exceptional customer service in every aspect of the job. D. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: A minimum of a 2 or 4 year associate degree in Business or Information Technology required. 2+ years experience working with & Implementing MS Dynamics AX and 5+ years of experience in IT industry with ERP. Detailed knowledge of computer hardware, including PCs, laptops, servers, modems, networking equipment, wireless access points, and printers. Knowledge of Active Directory including Users, Groups, Group Policies and MS DNS, DHCP. Fundamental understanding of IP networks & Routers. Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows Server 2000/2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and basic DOS knowledge. Working knowledge of MS Office 2003/2007 and administration of Exchange Server required. Knowledge of MS SharePoint services, including deployment, central administration, site design, and configuration desired. MS SQL DBA experience highly recommended and MS Dynamics AX experience required. Knowledge of basic scripting including VB Script and DOS batch files desired. Working knowledge of remote support utilities, including LogMeIn, pcAnywhere, VNC, etc… Precise attention to detail including accuracy and integrity of information. Excellent organizational skills are required. Superior listening, oral and written communication skills are required. Confidence, desire and ability to successfully complete a variety of assignments in a timely and professional manner. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of supervisors, peers, vendors, and the general public. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
