IT Infrastructure Strategist

We have an opening for an experienced IT infrastructure strategist. The ideal applicant will have experience designing and implementing global IT infrastructure, including experience working with data centers and ISPs to establish new facilities. In addition, this person should have a background in business strategy with enterprise service experience.

 

Responsibilities

· Create proactive business plans to meet dynamic industry movements.

· Act as point of contact for Internet connectivity in existing and emerging markets.

· Research and report on global traffic trends and markets.

· Track and manage ISP delivery dates.

· Audit and review monthly recurring invoices for circuits and floor space.

· Negotiate new and existing contracts.

· Provide oversight of existing SLA agreements and negotiate implementation of industry-standard SLAs.

· Manage procurement and expansion strategies.

 

Requirements

· 3-5 years of business analysis experience within a technology-based company

· 3-5 years experience negotiating agreements with tier 1 ISPs and collocation facilities

· Mastery of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

· Analytical thinking skills, detail orientation, and ability to innovate

· Technical knowledge of network protocols

· Technical knowledge of power configurations

· Technical knowledge of content delivery systems

 

Pluses

· Experience leading industry peers in establishing standards and best practices

· International business experience
