Their culture believes in providing high customer satisfaction by supplying products and services that delight customers and offer value.  The working environment promotes values and encourages employee development, diversity, and leadership excellence. Position: IT Manager/Senior Network Engineer ***This is a long term contract opportunity!!! The ideal candidate will responsible for the following:  Working on CDN (Content Distribution Network) The project involves enhancing the company’s Content Delivery platform, focused on network integration, performance and advanced network based content delivery features End to end systems engineering and service architecture area Understanding end to end business needs, current environment and long term strategy to define and gain interlock on end to end solution for new feature enhancements or performance enhancements Primary focus will be network based on network impacting delivery options Help design the end to end features with particular emphasis on impacts to the network Implementation and testing new features in one of the following areas: Multicast (with network multicast, tunneling and client based solution); Performance improvements/optimization (will include defining performance management framework, tooling/vendor selection as well as setting targets and some troubleshooting), and laying out network requirements and collaborating global network design (BGP, peering) as CDN expands and grows in EMEA and APAC regions REQUIRED SKILLS   Strong IP networking skills  Experience with BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) a plus Experience in working with Cisco routers is desired Leadership skills to lead solutions across teams a must Strong end to end systems engineering and service design In-depth knowledge and skills in Web applications (theory) including HTTP, SSL, TCP a plus IP performance analysis or testing in the internet is desired Content Delivery Network Technology/concepts a must Excellent written and verbal skills L4 switch design or implementation desired  Serious Candidates should send their word version resumes to riamatta@spherion.com or call immediately @ 630-919-2907 Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
