IT Operations Manager

We seek a highly experienced IT Operations Manager for our Miami, Florida, office to manage the implementation of IT operational frameworks and regulatory compliance standards. Extensive project management skills and experience are required, as is an emphasis on documenting necessary policies, procedures and evidence standards.

The following are some details of the position:
 
- Ensure that an adequate internal control environment is implemented and is functioning appropriately within the agency and that adherence to related regulatory requirements is achieved. Develop procedural documentation in support of the desired internal control environment; conduct self-assessments of controls and related processes; take corrective action as applicable.
- Lead the adoption of ITIL within the agency.
- Ensure the satisfactory completion of quarterly and annual IT SOX audits.
- Oversee change, configuration and release management standards and workflows.
- Coordinate major security activities, including periodic updates of the network security plan and quarterly vulnerability assessments.
- Assist with and contribute to our Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery plan. Jointly conduct periodic drills to ensure the plans meet established objectives and are up-to-date.
- Perform IT risk assessments and serve as an internal auditor for security issues, including intrusion detection, access control, log monitoring and vulnerability assessments.
 
Requirements:

- Ability to multitask and prioritize well.
- Hardcore project management and documentation skills.
- 15+ years in IT.
- 5 – 10 years at companies larger than 1,000 people.
- A BA/BS in IT, MIS or a related field.
- Ability to balance standards with business requirements.
