Description: 

Provide expert “hands-on” assistance to corporate teams in developing an effective IT process improvement program as part of an agile corporate Project Management Office (PMO).  This assistance may include consultation, document preparation, document review, chairing structured meetings, coaching project teams in identifying and using process improvement practices, to actual management of an entire client process improvement project.  As circumstances require, work as part of a team, or work independently with general guidance from management, or lead a team.  The CITI PMO operates on a service philosophy, and is dedicated to providing support to our operational projects in their efforts for continuous process improvement.  We are looking for practicing professionals with hands-on skills in process identification, engineering, documentation, measurement and compliance, and the facilitation skills to assist project team members in executing operational processes.

 

Mandatory Experience: 

1.  Proof of successful completion of SEI’s Introduction to CMMI (Staged and Continuous) training course.

2.  Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

3.  Minimum of two years full-time experience in IT project management, project coordination or team leadership.

4.  Minimum of two years full-time experience managing or coordinating IT and/or software project life cycles and development life cycles (actual coding or development work not necessary).

5.  Minimum of two years full-time experience as an integral part of a process improvement team working toward achieving SEI CMM certification of at least Level 2. Minimum of two years effectively facilitating and communicating in meetings, working sessions, and interviews.

6.  Minimum of two years displaying proven excellence in written and oral communication.

7.  Minimum of two years displaying ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with people at all organizational levels up to and including executive management.

8.  Capabilities-level knowledge of major information technology practices, methodologies, and software packages.

9.  Qualified to obtain a USG security clearance at the Secret level or above.

10.  U.S. Citizenship.

 

Desired Experience:

1. Two years experience supporting a SEI CMMI Level 2 or above organization.

2. Experience on a SCAMPI-A, SCAMPI-B or SCAMPI-C level appraisal team.

3. Familiarity with EVMS, ITIL, and/or ISO helpful but not required.

4. PMP or CAPM certification helpful but not required.

5. Active USG security clearance at the Secret level or above.
