We are currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a short term contract assignment with our client in southwestern Michigan. Job Description:IT Project Manager, with minimal direction, provides the IS leadership on a specific project or project stream. They will interact across all IS functions to ensure the successful delivery of the initiative. Specific accountabilities include: overall project plan management, task detail management, issues coordination and project resource activity and management. 2 - 5 years of hands on project management. Experience with various technology areas will be helpful: General SAP architecture; zSeries, pSeries, and Intel servers; z/OS, AIX, and Windows operating systems; associated disk technologies (DS/8000, NetApp, SCSI) and backup technologies (HSM and RMM for z/OS, TSM for AIX and Windows); associated databases (DB2 on z/OS, Oracle and DB2 for LUW); and Basis Administration. Project management processes are being adjusted with the new organization so flexibility with the changing processes will be a key requirement. Projects are usually driven from the business through infrastructure, this role will drive projects from infrastructure through the organization.  Required Skills:IT Project Manager with 2 - 5 years of hands on project management.
