Scottrade is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to assist in ensuring that our Internet and Local Area Network infrastructure is designed and implemented to meet or exceed industry security standards and practices. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer must have extensive background in Information Security assessment, design, test, implementation, and maintenance of information security solutions while focusing on a high availability network. The ideal candidate will work within a team environment to maintain the security framework of Scottrade while in very complex and secured infrastructure. In addition, the candidate must be knowledgeable about threats, vulnerabilities and remediation and perform advanced data analysis across a large set of complex network and security data, identify patterns and transform the data through analytics into actionable information. The individual should be highly motivated; results oriented; have excellent communication and presentation skills and needs to be a strong team player. Duties and Responsibilities: Help define overall information security strategies and procedures Design, implement, and maintain security focused infrastructure Assists management with the Scottrade Information Security Strategy Assist in the management of Antivirus, Firewalls, Host-based Intrusion Protection systems (HIPS), Network Intrusion Protection systems (NIPS), URL Filtering, Database Firewalls and Web Application Firewalls. Assistance with the implementation of web security by using white and black box testing Implement telecommunications security over PBX, VoIP and POTS lines Perform User Access assessments and provide new processes and control matrices for user access control Manage segregation of duties for all applications by performing audits and assessments Assist other members in the Information Security department by providing backup of technologies Evaluate new and emerging products and technologies. Evangelize security within Scottrade Assistance with Security Awareness and Training Develop and enforce security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines Train the Information Systems Department on security issues Assist in the Incident Handling and ResponseRequired Experience Minimum of 4 years in information security Extensive knowledge of Networking technologies, protocols, and services Extensive knowledge Windows 2000 / 2003 in a forest domain infrastructure Minimum of 5 years in Information Systems Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Results oriented, high energy, self-motivatedCertification Preferences: CCNP, CISSP, MCSE, or SANS (e.g. GSEC, GCFW, GCIA, GCWN, GCUX) MCSD, MCAD, or SCJPEducation: Bachelor is Science in Business, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science Scottrade, Inc., an equal opportunity employer, is committed to inclusion and a diverse workforce.
