Position Summary:

The IT Services Manager (ISM) for WestHost is responsible for WestHost’s IT Services department. This person will work with clients to offer them a variety of IT services including but not limited to:

 

· Workstation hardware and software installation, maintenance and repair

· Server hardware and software installation, maintenance and repair

· Networking

· Backups

· Security

 

The ISM should have an expert level understanding of Microsoft Windows workstation and Microsoft Windows Servers operating systems as well as Microsoft Exchange, backup Utilities, and security solutions. The ISM should have a good understanding of Linux operating systems (preferably RedHat). The ISM should have a good understanding of proper computer hardware repair practices. The ISM should have a good understanding of standard networking practices. 

 

The ISM must have the ability to manage and run multiple projects at the same time. This person must have excellent time and resource management skills. The ISM must also be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing. The IT Services Manager will receive their duties directly from the CEO of WestHost. The ISM is expected to perform, but is not limited to, the following duties:

 Responsible for keeping sensitive client data confidential both internally and externally.Will work directly with software and hardware vendors when needed to resolve issues.Responsible for being on-call in case of emergencies.Stay informed of new developments and trends in the management of IT infrastructure.Responsible for maintaining efficient procedures and organization systems.Provide a consistently high level of leadership and organizational support throughout WestHost.



Salary and Benefits:

Salary is BOE.  Benefits include: medical and dental insurance, automatic 3% employer contribution into 401(k) retirement plan, and over 3 weeks of paid time off in the first year.
