Job Title: IT Software Developer
Job Status: FT year round

Scope of Duties: Within the full application development lifecycle, the IT Software Developer (SD) must perform application development and maintenance for in house developed and / or supported software systems including web applications and local Windows applications.
Development and maintenance should adhere to accepted standards and conventions with should include code level, technical level and user level documentation. The SD must develop, as required, interfaces or integration between in house developed and / or supported and implemented Intrawest standard systems. The IT Software Developer must develop, as required, supplemental reports to satisfy user requirements. This could include application development and / or utilization of report tools such as Crystal Reports or SQL Reporting Services.
The SD must perform research of, or development of, tools to enhance software development and support including procurement of all software licensing needs for the resorts. The SD must assist in development / updating of application development standards and conventions. This position will assist in developing documentation, technical and user level. The SD must maintain, within time and budget constraints, a high level of industry knowledge through correspondence with industry personnel, periodicals, classes and seminars. Also, the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications. The design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications.
Requirements:The SD must have experience as a programmer responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation. Must have experience with Microsoft development tools including: Visual Studio .Net, C#, ASP, HTML, XML, JavaScript, and CSS. Experience with Adobe CS Tools, PHP, and MySQL desirable.
Experience and proven understanding of the Microsoft .NET Framework required.
Database experience including creating, maintaining and security for the following: Access, SQL Server, MySQL. The SD must have a good understanding of hardware and software in a Windows centric environment.
