IT Support Specialist

Provides Level I (first-tier) support of the SNHHS personal computing and network environment.  The primary role of the IT Support Specialist I is to answer incoming calls to the Support Center as well as analyze and resolve mildly complex technical and/or Level I system problems.  Level I issues are typically handled via scripts or known documented solutions.  Support is primarily provided via telephone, but may be in person or through e-mail.  Secondary roles may include user account maintenance and occasionally working the third shift.  This position requires excellent customer service skills, including the capacity to interface with non-technical business users.  This position may require occasional travel.  This position is also part of a rotating 7x24 on-call schedule.  The IT Support Specialist I typically reports to the Manager of Technical & Network Services.
