IT System Administrator of Applications
* Coordinate and implement security controls and classifications for users of the Oracle eBusiness suite, VistaPlus, and eCenter applications based on the Customer defined criteria and authorization. Periodically audit active user accounts for license compliance, assist application owners with auditing active user scope of responsibility.
* Maintain and troubleshoot inbound / outbound data interfaces with the eBusiness Suite and other production applications, including electronic report delivery and feeds to / from external vendors. Identify and address exposures to accidental or intentional destruction, disclosure, modification or interruption of data that would result in financial loss for the company.
* Work directly with Customers on management of eBusiness Suite batch processing schedule to ensure delivery to service levels. Analyze and tune concurrent manager queues within the eBusiness Suite and Appworx.
* Manage the process for custom eBusiness Suite code migration to QA, oversee and validate migration of the all code to production. Ensure that all related functional, technical, and test documentation is updated at each stage.
* Manage and respond to Help Desk, Development staff, and Engineering requests for eBusiness Suite, VistaPlus, Appworx and eCenter system support.
* eBusiness Suite, Appworx and VistaPlus administration, including creation and management of profile options, Menus and Responsibilities, Alerts, workflows, report definitions and request groups, printer definitions, and concurrent processing queues based on Customer defined standards.
* Actively participant in the System/Software Development Life Cycle including release management, change management, and maintenance of the development, test, QA and production environments
* Manage the production, QA and development Appworx and VistaPlus environments, including tuning, UNIX scripting, batch scheduling, and product upgrades.
* Act as primary technical contact for Appworx and VistaPlus vendors, staying current with vendor patch recommendations and software release updates. Plan, test and implement all necessary patch and release upgrades including a user training plan for new functionality.
* Provide support for periodic IT General Controls audit.* Single point of contact for coordinating and scheduling planned application and data center outages with Customers for upgrades and maintenance activities.
* Participate, test and document Disaster Recovery process for internal IT applications as previously mentioned in the Summary Section.
* Prepare operational & procedural documentation for level one support and team members. Functioning as the subject matter expert, provide training of level one and any other designated group.
* Participate in project meetings as required.
* Meet assignment due dates; communicating regularly with all levels of IT.
* Meet established departmental requirements for status reporting, work order updates and closures, change management submissions and closures.
* Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club's operation, it may be necessary that each Employee Partner perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your position, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other Employee Partners are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 2 to 5 years experience as an Oracle eBusiness Suite Systems Administrator.
- Appworx or other Enterprise job scheduler.
- Basic UNIX shell scripting, SQL scripting and PL/SQL
- DataStage ETL tool or similar enterprise data management application
- Familiar with Excel VBA
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Independent work ethic.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent field experience.
