IT Systems Administrator
The Judson Park Retirement Community, a trusted name in the field of senior living and health care, is looking to add a knowledgeable and energetic member to our family. The qualified candidate will be the sole IT champion at the Seattle location, but will work as a member of a distributed Global Support Team.
General Statement of Position:
Provide primary support for Judson Park users and systems including servers, workstations and peripheral devices. Perform moves, additions and changes for community telecommunications systems. Assist ABHOW IT Department in maintaining workstation hardware and software standards and configurations. Provide oversight for community equipment standards. Perform IT functions consisting of daily system backups, vendor contact administration, configuration documentation and IT software and technical library. Work with community management and users to improve operations and processes. Work with other ABHOW IT staff to develop, implement and support organization wide systems and programs.Reports to: Director of Administrative Services
Essential Functions:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
· Makes decisions regarding short term priorities and work activities requiring interpretation of guidelines, policies, and/or procedures as defined by ABHOW mission objectives, community management and IT management.
· Makes decisions on system and customer routine issues, within existing guidelines, policies and procedures frequently.
· Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and e-mail in a courteous manner
· Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue
· Makes decisions on hardware and software standards compliance, including system upgrades and enhancements
· Prioritize and schedule problems. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician
· Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution
· Has responsibility to improve customer satisfaction by insuring network and system access is fast efficient and available for all users.
· Responsible for supporting and managing office electronics (e.g., copiers, fax machines, and cell phones) as well as audio/visual equipment (e.g., projectors, cameras, and TV’s)
· Support life-safety systems, like emergency call devices, door monitors, etc.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
· 3+ years of progressive work experience in project analysis of business operations as well as IT organization (preferably in Non-Profit organizations)
· AS or AA in computer related field or 3 years of equivalent work experience
· Certification a plus.
Compensation:This is a full time non-exempt status position, with an excellent benefits package.
