ITIL Certified Consulting Contract (IT Infrastructure Exp.)

CONSULTING ASSIGNMENT (1099 / W-2 Hourly / Corp to Corp) Rate = $60 to $75 / hr

We have a need for a consultant at out client in San Diego (work performed on site) for a 1 year assignment (with the potential for it to go longer).  My client is looking to bring on someone ITIL Certified with the following credentials:

 

Required Technical Skills:

· 5-10 years demonstrated experience supporting production operations of IT Infrastructure Environments

· ITIL training and certification

· Demonstrated service management experience

· Minimum of 5 years as a senior system administrator in a Linux and Windows based enterprise environment

· Must be dependable with a great work ethic, demonstrated initiative, ownership of issues, and exceptional attitude

· Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills

· Ability to successfully work in a fast paced, changing environment

· Ability to analyze, develop, and implement operational efficiency and improvements

· Willingness to work occasionally on an on-call basis or for planned overnight maintenance

Education:

· BS in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field

· HP Intel and AMD based DL-Class SERVERS

· HP MSA, EVA, and XP Class DISK ARRAYS

· HP MSL and ESL Class TAPE LIBRARIES

· HP/Brocade SAN

· Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows 2K/2K3/XP OPERATING SYSTEMS

· NT, EXT3, VxFS, and SAN/DISTRIBUTED FILE SYSTEMS

· LAN, WAN, File Transfer Protocol and GENERAL NETWORKING configuration, monitoring, management, QOS, load balancing, trunking, testing, troubleshooting & tools associated with aforementioned

· DAS, NAS, and SAN Enterprise level STRORAGE configuration, monitoring, management, testing, troubleshooting & tools associated with aforementioned

· Server, O/S, File, User, Network (DMZ, Firewalls, Encryption), Web and Storage SECURITY, testing, troubleshooting & tools associated with aforementioned

· Server, Networking, SAN, Storage PERFORMANCE monitoring, measurement, management, testing, troubleshooting & tools associated with aforementioned

· Server, Application, Network, SAN, Storage HIGH AVAILABILITY

· Policy based multi-tier Hierarchical STORAGE MANAGEMENT

· Active Directory, SMTP, IIS, Web Servers

· BEA WebLogic, Oracle RAC, OpenView, VMware

· Shell, Perl, VB SCRIPTING

· HP Data Protector BACKUP/RECOVERY
