This is a six month contract with the potential to go perm.This is a JR - mid level role.This position pays $25+/hr.Job Description:Our Client is currently seeking an Austin-based Solutions Consultant. Responsibilities include deploying technology and building custom solutions to meet their clients' diverse needs. This is business to business consulting not a help desk/Tech support role.The position is an interesting mix of technical and customer service work and the successful candidate will be enthusiastic about both areas. In this position you will:Work directly with the business clients to map requirements to a technical strategy.Deploy JavaScript-based acquisition technologySatisfy client-specific reporting needs using PL/SQL technologies.Provide ongoing support to new clients.Work closely with multiple groups to drive product direction and implementation servicesJob requirements:Technical background including technical consulting in a business to business environment and some development experience.Database experience, particularly with Oracle and involving SQL or PL/SQL is an advantage.Excellent customer service, presentation and writing skills. Must be comfortable interacting with Fortune 500 companies.Outstanding problem solving skills and attention to detail. Must be able to think creatively about issues to find a resolution.The ability to learn quickly. You will have to become an expert on the product in a short amount of time.Some TravelBachelor's degree.
