Information Assurance (IA) Advisor/Analyst
Provides research, Information Assurance (IA) budget analysis, coordination, and administrative support to the Technology Management, Integration and Standards Directorate of the TRICARE Management Activity. Is the TRICARE Management Activity liaison to the Defense Wide Information Assurance Program (DIAP) on IA budget issues. Is the subject matter expert of the Information Assurance funding in the Defense Health Program (DHP) budget. Reviews Presidential Budget year submissions for alignment with the DoD IA Strategy. Inputs DHP IA budget information into the Select and Native Program Information Technology (SNAP_IT) data input program. Links IA budget information to FISMA and other external reports. Also manages the TRICARE Management Activity Implementation of the DoD Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program. Coordinates actions with the TRICARE Management Activity Human Resources Division and represents the organization at various Office of the Secretary of Defense (Network & Information Integration)/DoD, Chief Information Office Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Working Groups. Provides consultation skills related to developing processes to solve information assurance issues. Reports to a team task leader. Develops briefings, information papers and status reports for the IA initiatives the incumbent manages. Coordinates IA related activities with the appropriate TRICARE Management and other government subject matter expert as appropriate.
Must be eligible for a DoD SECRET clearance. Possession of a current clearance is a plus.

Acknowledge senior Information Assurance manager with 8 years experience with oversight of IA budget initiatives. Bachelors degree in a managerial field related to information management budgeting or information assurance budgeting.
Must be an U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
CISSP or CISM certification required if not when hired, then within 9 months of hiring.

Education/Certification Required: Bachelor of Science (Master’s degree preferred) in a technical or scientific discipline or field related to computer science, management information systems, information technology engineering, security engineering, enterprise architecture or similar. Experience may substitute for education.
