Information Assurance (IA) Analyst/Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Provide general Information Assurance support, including Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and security engineering. Support the DoD agency and components to integrate and implement the C&A process within the client’s infrastructure. Assist in implementing applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and other technology utilized within the enclave environment. Update and test information technology contingency and incident response plans. Support the client in the implementation of the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), DoDI 8500.2 security controls, and DISA's wireless security controls.



REQUIREMENTS:At least three years in-depth experience performing network and system C&A utilizing DITSCAP/DIACAP within the DoD. Ability to analyze gathered data to form conclusions, make specific recommendations and present results to management Experience using DODI 8500.2 controls and awareness of DOD and NIST standards used in Certification and Accreditation. Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) compliance for networks, servers, workstation, and wireless networks. Understanding of DoD systems and security policies. Information Systems Security Engineering Support and Analysis & Vulnerability Management IA Architecture defense-in-depth concepts, DoD 8500.1/2 policy guidance and procedures. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

QUALIFICATIONSU.S. CitizenshipRelevant Certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC) Bachelor’s degree or higherEligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
