The incumbent will be working in a team environment and be responsible for architecting solutions which include software; hardware; and communication components and evaluating and managing cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Responsible for assessing system requirements and specifications and translate into functional architecture. Design activities will include requirements specifications, developing system concepts, and creating system architecture and design documentation. Demonstrate proficiency in applying systems development life-cycle methodology in design and engineering and integrating Commercial-off-the-shelf technology with legacy and new systems to create Enterprise solutions. Ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with established Enterprise Architecture framework. Candidate will lead or participate in customer and peer meetings to review design alternatives and proposed solution; support project planning and scheduling activities; and take a leadership role in ensuring effective implementation.Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field preferred Nine or more years of information systems technology experience Proficiency in eCommerce and relevant technologies. Previous knowledge and experience in reviewing requirements; developing and assessing alternative solutions; and architecting a variety of enterprise-wide systems Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software Experience working with the interface of information technology with functional groups within an organization Other Qualifications Strong analytical and problem solving skills Good interpersonal and presentation skills Good communication skills Good leadership and organizational skills Ability to set technical direction for a project or application Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to obtain a MBI clearance is required.
