Director, Infrastructure Outsourcing Practice

 

The Director of Infrastructure Outsourcing Services is responsible for defining and implementing the growth strategy for the Company’s IT infrastructure outsourcing services.  This includes identifying and evaluating emerging market opportunities, managing the product development process to bring new solutions to market, establishing pricing methodologies and tracking the revenue and profitability of the business against the Company’s key metrics.  The Practice Director conducts research and analysis on market trends, establishes overall direction of the solutions and services that are offered by the Company, supports the sales, pre-sales, and client-services organizations in closing new sales, defines the service delivery requirements and process, establishes and maintains relationships with outside vendors that are utilized as part of the solution, provides recommendations on new market opportunities and competitive threats, and represents the Company as an outsourcing expert with industry analysts.  In addition, the Practice Director works with marketing to promote and effectively position the solutions in the market and tracks potential acquisition targets that can increase the Company’s scale, distribution channels or capabilities within targeted industries, geographies, or service lines.

 

 

 

Required Experience and Knowledge

 Minimum of 7 years experience as a Practice Manager, Product Manager, Product Development Manager, or Product Marketing Manager for an IT infrastructure services company.Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent product and services.Basic financial knowledge of cost of revenues, gross profit, and EBIT.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.Technical background with experience in mainframes, servers, and networking.Excellent teamwork skills.Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
