Infrastructure Project Manager Job Purpose - Manage the overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of Infrastructure project work effort. - Deliver within a defined timeframe and according to quality standards.Responsibilities - Translate project requirements into project tasks and task requirements - Identify and allocate project team resources - Deliver detailed project schedules, resource plan, and status reports - Track and communicate key milestones, identify potential project risks - Steering/auditing of tasks/results, if necessary with experts - Create the necessary support processes for the infrastructure - Create the support documents - Define the communication guidelines and interfaces for the support processes - Solid ability in mapping requirements to products and solutions - Understand/assess system requirements for all incoming projects/bids/tenders and provide quotations for the appropriate hardware solutions to meet the requirements - Inform and assign incoming projects with regard to installation and configurationJob challenge - To identify any significant alterations to agreed upon scope of work that would cause a measurable change to effort or timelines. - To work autonomously - To have overall knowledge in various range of technologies and IT activities - Creative, accurate and able to work on a strictly methodical basis Required - Strong in ability to deliver - Strong in customer orientation - Solid in building and managing partnerships and relationship building - Solid in planning and organization - Solid in cross border thinking - Leadership skills and decision making qualities - Social skills, especially communication skills - Good contact skills and a motivating personality - Solid overall knowledge in hardware, networking, infrastructure capacity, security, support and maintenance - Planning projects (scope, time, cost, resources, communication, quality, risk, procurement) - Managing Transition (Control the change of responsibility between development and support team) - IT-Know How - Have a thorough understanding of CMMI 3 and SQA metrics as they apply to project milestones and RTPS - Good knowledge of the SDLC process - Moderation and presentation skills - Evaluating project staff - Evaluating third party project performance - Min 2 years experience in Microsoft office products (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) - Min 3 years of PM experience - PM with infrastructure skills required
