Basic Purpose
The Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM) is focused on building relationships and engraining themselves in the business of our customers. Through a consultative approach to sales, the ISAM will focus on increasing the buying volume of their established customer base. Working with organization with >150 PC’s, the ISAM will provide outstanding customer service while driving sales through strong customer relationships and proactive account management. The ISAM will work in partnership with Outbound Sales Representatives in their sales region to take a strategic sales approach and act as an extension of their customers I.T. department.
Performance Objectives
Initial Training Program
1. Develop skills and complete training within the Inside Sales Representative role in your first 4-8 months on the job
2. Within 2 weeks in the role, complete our Online Training program ‘Mercury’.
3. Successfully attain a grade of 80% or higher on Hardware Level 1 & Licensing Level 1 tests in your first month
4. Successfully attain a grade of 80% or higher on Hardware Level 2 & Licensing Level 2 tests in your second month
5. Successfully complete ‘Softchoice Survivor Week’ which includes training on Softchoice internal resources, product information, and additional business acumen by the end of your third month.
6. Attend & participate in weekly training seminars based around Software Licensing, Softchoice Hardware proposition, and more.
7. Work co-operatively within a team environment to provide quick, accurate responses to both Inside and Outside Account Managers.
Inside Sales Account Manager
Sales Targets
Successfully attain 100% of your monthly Hardware and Software sales targets, which are based on previous territory activity and expected territory growth rate.
Monthly Activity
Through a consultative approach, work with your established base of accounts to successfully achieve daily averages regarding quotes a day, dials a day, talk time minutes, and year-over-year (YoY) hardware run-rate growth (orders < $1000).
Technical Objectives
Learn to use softchoice.com and position this tool to customers for product procurement, online purchasing, and inventory searching. Successfully attain targets for YoY web-buying account growth.
Internal Departments
Work with distribution, vendors, and internal departments to develop quick, accurate responses to any product information requests, order delays or any other issues that may arise.
Customer Service
Ensure 100% customer satisfaction despite potential delivery delays.
Team work
Work closely with Outside Sales representatives to develop techniques to improve identification within base of accounts and increase the amount of business within your accounts.
