Interface Team Lead

Interface Team Lead Pierre, SD 57501 The Interface Team Lead oversees, coordinates and conducts requirements analysis and follow-on actions to ensure the  database interface architecture and documentation is comprehensive and establishes the correct technical solution for interfacing with external systems.  The Interface Team Lead ensures that all  data feeds meet the needed requirements, works with other internal and external teams and project stakeholders to customize, maintain and monitor file and database interface software services and routines, oversees the documentation of all code and design decisions, and is responsible for developing and implementing the external interface plan.  The Interface Team Lead has overall responsibility for creating and implementing interface architecture, designs, program code and tests. Duties/Responsibilities:· Leads the analysis, design, and development of interface activities· Coordinates with business area team leads to ensure interface data is mapped to target tables· Coordinates with Integration Manager to ensure internal interfaces between SOA components are defined and tested· Develops schedules and monitor the effort of the team· Coordinates with external systems representatives· Conducts requirements analysis· Conducts mapping of data elements· Develops interface architecture· Develops interface documentation· Coordinates interface testing with test lead Skills RequiredMANDATORY: · Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience· Oracle database and  stored procedures· PL/SQL programming expert· Knowledgeable of ETL tool sets and functions· Sun Solaris operating system and services· Bourne and Korn shell scripts: grep, sed, nawk, flow control constructs· Perl programming language syntax, variables, commands, scripts, subroutines, and modules· Leadership Skills: Team building, flexibility, collaboration, negotiation, facilitation, communication, presentation and group dynamics· Excellent written, oral and presentation skills· IBM Rational ClearCase (CM) and ClearQuest (Change Control) Secondary Skills: · Experience with configuration management· Health and Human Services Experience (either in state government or vendor community)· Medicaid/MMIS experience· Java (J2EE spec), Javascript, HTML, JSP, Servlets and use of Frameworks
