All individuals being considered must be willing to work as expatriates on the project overseas for a one-year duration. Under the general direction of the management team and senior staff, this position requires extensive experience in leading Cerner SurgiNet (theater management) implementations. The SurgiNet analyst-lead position requires a high degree of experienced analytical and/or programming capabilities in Cerner SurgiNet, the ability to perform and supervise tasks such as: defining requirements, developing and/or maintaining Cerner applications/systems, and providing services to meet client information technology (IT) and business needs within budget and targeted deadlines. The ideal candidate would have completed on-going training on-the-job, through courses, self-study, certifications and/or advanced degrees to maintain and enhance technical and business capabilities, would have served as lead resource for dealing with challenging technical or business issues and has demonstrated prevention techniques to avoid repeat issues and crisis situations. In addition, candidates should have applied advanced knowledge in a primary discipline and working knowledge in multiple relevant disciplines to create solutions for highly complex business situations, have demonstrated success leading teams or collaborating with business partners and peer-level professionals from other IT specialties, and have established and refined the essential IT principles, departmental policies, procedures and analytical rules that guide their application in practical situations. Previous experience with Cerner SurgiNet is highly preferred.
