High Dollar Post Payment Auditor

 

WPS Health Insurance is one of the largest not-for-profit insurers in Wisconsin, offering health benefit plans and life insurance statewide, and is a leader in innovative health plan solutions.  We have an opening for a High Dollar Post Payment Auditor in our Madison office.  This position would be responsible for the performance of post payment audits to assess the accuracy of operating system processes for information integrity of transactions for high dollar claims.

 

Selected candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Statistics, Internal Audit, Healthcare Management or related field and 4 years experience in a health insurance industry, which includes 2 years experience with quality assurance processes and insurance operations auditing. 

 

This position requires strong background and experience in claims auditing, claims processing and payment, contract interpretation, and the ability to write comprehensive reports, respond to audit findings and interface with corporate executives.
