Inventory Clerk

The Inventory Control Clerk will provide support to the After-Sales and Warehouse Teams in the execution of procurement, inventory control, and order fulfillment of mining spare parts and equipment. The Inventory Control Clerk will assist in the areas of processing sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, and assisting with various inventory control needs:

Primary Duties include:
• Prepare sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices to Clients and Suppliers
• Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations
• Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems
• Check order/shipment packing lists, documentation prior to sending to designated Freight Forwarder
• Prepare shipping documentation to internal and external freight forwarders and internal customs brokers
• Other duties as required

Qualifications and Experience:
• Moderate level knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel, a must
• Commercial awareness for contract writing and review
• Familiarity with INCO-terms (International sales terms) and International shipping procedures, a plus
• Knowledge of second language, a plus
• MS Project, Lotus Notes, a plus

Skills Required:
• Minimum three consecutive years experience in a business environment
• Previous work with Purchasing/Inventory PC systems, required
• Excellent typing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
