HCS Systems is seeking a J2EE Application Developer to be responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of in-house/third-party software applications. The J2EE Developer should possess 1 to 2 years experience developing secure external client facing applications.
Description:
- Work with clients, analysts, and team members to develop technical solutions for moderate
business problems.
- Develop and execute test plans, test specifications, and test cases.
- Provide production application support, which includes problem research, analysis, resolution, and on-
call support.
- Install new versions or make maintenance updates to existing applications.
- Work with QA/Testing groups to resolve issues and to ensure software quality.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- One to two years experience or equivalent proficiency in application design and programming.
- Educational experience with Java technology will be considered as experience for this position.
- Experience developing secure external client facing applications.
- Experience in EJB's and WSAD.
- Financial Systems experience with DB2 UDB is a plus.
Preferred:
- Associates degree in IS related curriculum or equivalent education and related training.
