J2EE Developers Position Description:Strong application development and communication skills are a must and automotive experience is a plus. Key responsibilities include: Developing, unit testing, code review, and deploying of J2EE code to meet customer requirements. Ensuring all design, coding, configuration, and application change management issues are addressed. Adherence to all project standards for development, security, user interface, interoperability, documentation, key methods and object model. Work closely with lead developer as required for application technical design understanding. Adherence to all Project Management standards. All stages of delivery of new scheduling software. Responsibility for creation of the following artifacts/deliverables: Technical specifications, design class, sequence and activity diagrams with Lead Developer and System Design/Analyst. Application prototypes, Code development and reviews. Unit, system and disaster recovery testing. Application builds. Launch deployment procedures. Data conversions. REQUIRED SKILLS:B.S. in computer-related field required (Computer Science, MIS, etc.) or related experienceDeveloper needs to have 3 to 5 years IT J2EE coding experience covering large new development as well as smaller enhancements and production support role. Need to have strong Innovation and Technical Excellence skills. Must ensure compliance with all corporate and program level standards. Will be responsible for complying with all technical reviews and resolving development related issues. Will escalate to lead developer, system design analyst or release manager where support required. Developers will be expected to support technical reviews of co-workers.Must Have:·  J2EE coding experience·  Unit Testing tools experience (JUnit)·  Experience reading UML Models·  XML knowledge SECONDARY SKILLS:Rational Unified Process experience (strongly preferred) *We are willing to sponsor you or transfer your sponsorship, but this opportunity must be on a W-2 basis.
