JBoss JEE Developer

 

Our customer in Reading, PA, a total supply chain solution provider offering supply chain consulting, systems selection and implementation, distribution center design, and materials handling systems integration is seeking an experienced Java (UI) user-interface developer to play an active role in the design, development and implementation of Swing and Web UIs for an event driven n-tier system.

Requirements:

 

·  Must have 6+ years experience with JSE/JEE technologies including Swing, Applets, Servlets, JSP and JSP taglibs, JSF and Java 5 SDK.

 

·  Having 2+ years experience with JBoss application server development and working knowledge of the Seam framework and Web 2.0 technologies is a significant plus.

 

·  Candidate must be demonstrably proficient in OOAD, general design patterns, core JEE patterns and blueprints.

 

·  Must be experienced in both thick-client and web UI interface use paradigms and usability issues and patterns for both.

 

·  Experience with other open source application servers and open source development tools are a significant plus.

 

 

Position requires 4 – 5 days per week on site in Reading, PA office with some overnight travel (less than 10%) to out-of-state client sites as required.
