SUMMARY

Flatiron Construction Corp, a national heavy/highway contractor, is seeking an experienced Programmer for its corporate office in Longmont, Colorado to create, maintain and support programs and applications using Microsoft C#.NET and T-SQL in a Windows ASP.net environment.  The position will also support Windows and web applications and provide business applications for J.D.Edwards DB2 database via SQL Server and Microsoft Visual Studios.

 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Designing solutions for all projects as assigned by Applications ManagerDevelops Windows and ASP.NET solutionsHas a good understanding of XML and HTML.Troubleshoots and debugs problems in code authored by self and others.Responsible for initial program testing of all projectsExperienced with C#.NET and MS Visual StudiosDBA functions with SQL Server Databases and DB2Writing stored procedures using T-SQLReport writing using MS SQL Reporting ServicesDocumentation writing for applications supported

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other related field3 +  years of .NET development (C#, windows, ASP.NET)5 +years development experience in an object oriented environmentExperience with i5 architecture and DB2 databaseExperience with a Portal Framework such as SharePointJ.D.Edwards E1 or World / DB2 knowledge a mustKnowledgeable in the latest web-based technologies
