JD Edwards Systems Manager / JDE Financial Analyst
JD Edwards Systems Manager:
Manage all business applications in ERP environment including the creation, development, maintenance, upgrades, conversions, and new implementations. (Need to list modules here)
NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
1. Staff, organize and manage personnel in the ERP Systems department. Responsibilities include: selecting new staff, developing existing staff, developing personal development plans, developing succession plans, establishing performance standards for and evaluating performance of staff and recommending personnel actions (promotion, termination, salary actions, etc.).
2. Manage the allocation of resources required to support the business requirements. Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with project sponsors, business leaders, and key systems users. Work directly with the business leaders in prioritizing new development projects, enhancement projects for existing systems, and system maintenance requests.
3. Provide project management skills in training, counseling and motivating project team members. Plan, schedule, and estimate duration and cost of projects.
4. Manage the design of new application systems and ensure existing systems fit the business needs.
5. Manage the development and compliance with software development standards
and methodologies, Including the processes for testing, moving jobs into production environments, and requesting add, deletes, and changes to the production scheduling systems.
Job Specifications:
B.S. degree related to information systems or equivalent experience and 7 - 10 years of experience in management, including at least 5 years of JDE system management.
Thorough understanding of business operations and systems integration with business processes.
Must have the ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
V. ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVES:
1. (30%) Proper management of existing resources resulting in high levels of both quality and productivity, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction.
2. (20%) Comprehensive and accurate reporting of all resource usage, including project tracking, status, and management.
3. (20%) Defining and adhering to project specifications and timelines, including both the budgeting of and use of internal and external resources.
4. (10%) Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of all production software systems and schedules.
5. (10%) Full compliance of all managed staff to existing standards and methodologies and managing the development of necessary standards and methodologies where none exist.
6. (10%) Create, Maintain, and manage the budgeting function.
