Java Developers

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

l Create Solution Approaches using the Java Language

l Create Technical Designs

l Plan tasks and manage to a project plan

l Create and update a task list or project plan

l Assists team in solving problems within Java and additional J2EE Infrastructure components



l Communicate status to client management effectively

l Create Java code/artifacts.

l Write Java Code per functional specifications

l Write Java Code Unit Test cases

l Interact with testing teams to resolve defects/bugs

 

 Required Skills

 

1. Excellent communications skills

2. Display and Demonstrate Problem Solving abilities

3. Lead position experience displayed and demonstrated

4. Understanding of Industry standard architectures, including J2EE and common design/solution approaches

5. Ability to perform under pressure and manage deadlines

6. Ability to utilize task management strategies, including work planning or task planning

7. Java/Programming Experience Development (3-5 years) 

8. Client facing experience, client interactionsDesired Skills

 

. Experience with Microsoft Powerpoint

3. Experience with 3 Tiered J2EE Architecture

4. Experince with Oracle, MSFT SQL Server

5. Experience with Maven, Cruise Control, Subversion

6. Experience with BEA Weblogic Application Server

7. Web Services, SOAP, WSDL

8. Spring Framework

9. Experience with HTTP/XML protocols

10. Experience with Oracle 9 or 10g.
